How to get involved with Project SEED
If you want to start a research project: Apply for the fall cohort. Applications open August 15, 2026. We don’t require prior research experience or specific grades. The application asks one question: what are you curious about? Be specific.
If you’ve already started a project and just want a mentor: Submit a mentor request. We’ll match within 2-3 weeks if we have a fit.
If you want to be a campus ambassador: We recruit ambassadors in May for the following school year. Priority goes to students who’ve competed at regional fairs or have done independent research. Ambassadors run workshops at their home school and earn a real leadership role you can write about on college applications.
