Help build the next generation of researchers
Project SEED matches Frisco ISD high school students with mentors at UTD, UNT, and partner institutions. The commitment is light — one meeting per month — and the impact is significant. Most of our mentees have never done independent research before. What they need most is someone who can read their proposal, point at the obvious flaws, and recommend two papers to read. You don’t need to host them in your lab, though some mentors do.
Mentors get:
- A vetted, motivated student matched to your area
- Optional lab tour or shadowing day in the spring
- Recognition on our site and annual report
